VADODARA, Feb 11: A sunset in the room may sound difficult to believe but students of the Faculty of Technology, M S University made it a reality at the two-day Technology Fair which began here on Thursday.

Students of the Chemistry department welcomed visitors to a dark room where they saw the sun setting amidst narration and music. Visitors also queued up at the Applied Mathematics department to see the students play with numbers.

While the general impression is that mathematics is complicated and numbers not everybody8217;s cup of tea, here it was mazedar mathematics with the number game made interesting and easy.

Computer graphics and the latest in computers were an added attraction of the fair. Visitors also got a glimpse of the latest in Computer Aided Designing and Computer Aided Manufacturing CADCAM.

Students of all 15 departments of the Faculty had something novel to show to the visitors as well as the school children visiting the fair. Tejal Amin, a school student, said those who didn8217;t visit the fair missed out on the interesting aspects of Science and Mathematics.

The fair is being organised under the aegis of the Campus Diversity programme.
