
Subeer anchors YPS triumph
MOHALI: A Brilliant innings of 57 runs in 55 balls by Subeer Hayer propelled YPS Mohali towards a 13 run win over St John8217;s School, Sector 26 on first Lt Gen K P Candeth Memorial Under-14 Cricket Tournament being organised by YPS. Mohali at the school premises on Sunday. YPS won the toss and elected to bat first. Subeer and Arsh Goyal stitched a partnership of 47 runs for the first wicket. Later, he partnered with Abhimanyu Singla 36 not out to keep the score board ticking. YPS made 167 runs for the loss of three wickets in 25 overs.
In reply, St John8217;s inning folded at 154 for the loss of four wickets in 25 overs. Shine Sharma scored a superb half century but couldn8217;t lead his team towards victory.

Manish take LCC to victory
CHANDIGARH: Manish8217;s knock of 74 runs anchored LCC towards an emphatic 73 run victory over Lions Cricket Club in UT Cricket League held at Government Model School, Sector 27 on Sunday.
LCC made 178 runs for the loss of one wicket in 20 overs after winning the toss. Apart from Manish, it was Vicky8217;s half century 63 runs that helped them post a huge total. In reply, KCC could muster only 105 runs in 15 overs. Dhanwant Tiwari balsted 75 runs in 45 balls but other batsmen failed to put up a decent knock and KCC lost by 73 runs. Harinder and Rakesh took three wickets each.

PANCHKULA: Little Flower Convent School, Sector 14, Panchkula, defeated Hans Raj Public School, Sector 6, Panchkula, by 10 wickets to storm into the final of ongoing U-14 cricket district tournament on Saturday.
