The Union Government’s alleged capitulation to US policies, its response on the nuclear deal in Parliament and the prevailing political situation in the country will come up for discussion at a two-day meeting of the CPI(M) Politburo starting here on Monday. The party’s stand on SEZs, following the Nandigram episode, is also expected to find a prominent place in the discussions. The major agenda before the Politburo is to give final touches to the draft Political Resolution, which would be debated at its meeting to be held in the next fortnight.
