Harbhajan Singh played a significant part in Surrey8217;s innings and 55-run win against Hampshire in a Division One match today. Harbhajan, who scored a 16-ball 25 in surrey8217;s total of 361 in the first innings, claimed 6/36 restricting the hosts to 146 and then picked 2-47 before they were all out at 160 following on in their second innings on the third day at the Rose Bowl today.

Ganguly among runs

Sourav Ganguly looked intent at making up for the lack of opportunity in the first innings run feast for Glamorgan. After Middlesex declared at 435/4, Glamorgan were in a potentially precarious situation at three for 66. Ganguly saw through to the stumps and hit six boundaries in his unbeaten 82-ball 56. Dinesh Mongia scored 36 in a struggling Leicestershire second innings against Worcestershire. Worcestershire had scored 323 runs to get a first innings lead of 98 runs.
