The BJP on Tuesday said the country’s politics has become bipolar and dismissed the Third Front as a non-starter.“The country’s politics has become bipolar where Congress-led UPA and BJP-led NDA will fight a pitched battle for power in the next general elections and the idea of Third Front would never click,” senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj said.“The Third Front is a non starter which vanishes before it starts,” Swaraj, who arrived in Agartala to attend a party rally, told reporters.“Jayalalitha and Mulayam Singh Yadav have already quit the Third Front. How Left parties will give an alternative to BJP or Congress is not understandable to me”, she said.Swaraj said regional parties like TDP and BSP may be a factor in Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh but they will not be able to make a mark in Delhi. She said BJP would prepare a national agenda to run a coalition government if it is voted to power in the next elections. The BJP leader demanded immediate handing over of 100 acres of land to Amarnath shrine board in Jammu and Kashmir immediately as the state government had to reverse its decision of allocating the land to the board “due to pressure from political parties as well from terrorist organisations”.She said if BJP is voted back to power, the Indo-US nuclear deal would be renegotiated.
