Cops recruitment 8212; 520 qualify

CHANDIGARH, Nov 25: As many as 520 candidates have qualified in the recruitment for city police constables, being held at the Police Lines. A press statement issued by SSP headquarters and chairman of the selection panel, Ajay Kashyap, said that the process continued from 8.30 am to 12.40 pm.

Yesterday8217;s recruitments was marred by a controversy with several candidates alleging that they were not allowed to appear in the tests. The officials had claimed that these candidates were late. For the 120 posts of constables, 20,000 applications have been received.
