S.A.S NAGAR, MARCH 14: The local unit of the Senior Citizens Pensioners Council today held second veteran walking competition for the senior citizens of the town at Phase-VIII Dussehra Ground to mark Elders8217; Day. Several competitions were also organised for the senior citizens and their spouses. The results of the competitions will be announced tomorrow.
The council chief Amrik Singh Mohali said that beside the walking competition, musical chair and a declamation contest in Punjabi on Life After 60 years were also held. The programme was sponsored by Punjab and Sindh Bank, he added.
