CHANDIGARH, MARCH 14: The 11th Consumer Day Celebrations opened at the Nehru Park, Sector 22-B with the formal inauguration of a mela by Punjab Finance Minister Kanwaljit Singh.
The consumer awareness-cum-sale mela is organised by the Chandigarh Consumers Forum in collaboration with the UT Administration and Municipal Corporation.
An information centre to make consumers aware of their rights, free redressal of complaints is the highlight of the mela.
