NEW DELHI, January 7: The All India Congress Committee has appointed Seva Dal chief Suresh Pauchauri as poll observer for the coming Delhi parliamentary elections. He will be assisted by AICC joint secretary and MP from Karnataka Hari Prasad, DPCC president Prem Singh and leader of Opposition in Delhi Jag Pravesh Chandra.

According to an AICC spokesman, this decision was taken late on Wednesday evening. The committee will also look into the selection of candidates for the remaining four Parliamentary constituencies. AICC president Sitaram Kesri had recently announced the candidates for three constituencies in Delhi.
