Complaint against ENT practitioner

SURAT, June 15: The Umara Police have registered a complaint against a leading ENT practitioner and an anaesthetist in connection with the death of a young boy. The complaint was lodged by the victim8217;s father, who alleged criminal negligence on part of the medical practitioners had cost his son8217;s life.

A case under section 304 and 114 of the IPC was filed against the two for allegedly causing the death of the 12-year-old a couple of days. No one has been arrested . Preliminary post mortem reports suggest that the death was caused by an overdose of anaesthesia administered.
