Darren Holder8217;s tenure as Maharashtra coach seems to be in freefall following reports of player unrest, a scuffle and 8212; crucially 8212; a poor season that saw the state relegated to the Plate division.

Holder is reported to have had a showdown with Sairaj Bahutule during their one-day match against Saurashtra at Vadodara. Players who witnessed the incident allege that Holder pulled up Bahutule in front of a junior player, following which a scuffle ensued.
