Show business, indeed!
On a day when business this side of the town is quite thanda, it was surprising to see a group of youngsters crowd at the entrance of the newly-opened boutique at Goldfield Plaza 8211; Sign O Times. A peep inside revealed what had made them sacrifice their Sunday siestas 8211; the presence of Raveena Tandon and Raakhee Tandon of Hum Paanch fame. The duo was down to help the boutique celebrate the completion of a month here.
The sisters-in-law Raakhee is married to Raveena8217;s brother were all smiles as they moved amidst the crowd, gave autographs, posed for pictures with fans8230;. and, of course, swore by the store8217;s clothes and accessories.
8220;The idea is to give Puneites genuine upmarket casualwear and clubwear,8221; explains Jatin Abbott, the man behind this outlet. With a classy interior, the lines of racks at the store sure seemed to be laden with eye-catching apparel and brands galore. 8220;We plan to have a celebrity come over every month to meet Puneites and have a look at our shop,8221; informs Kamlesh, the partner from Mumbai, reiterating the fact that nothing attracts more then glamour.
