Mass appeal
Kavi Kusumagraj, who passed away recently, left his lyrical imprint on the minds of generations of Marathi-reading public. It is now the readers themselves who will be given a chance to pay homage to the litterateur. The Pune Marathi Granthalaya, a city-based library, has organised a meet on April 10, a month to the day he passed away, wherein readers and fans of Kusumagraj will be asked to pay tribute to him.

8220;There has been no public function to pay tribute to a man who influenced so many aspects of literature. Through this function, we want those who admired his writing and work to speak about their impressions of Kusumagraj,8221; says chairman Mukund Angal. The organisation has appealed to citizens to register their names with them for the programme.
