Tread with caution
Tanaaz Currim is one cautious lady. Apparently both Tanaaz and her husband Bakhtiyar Irani were approached to perform together on Zee TV8217;s Diwali Hungama, but Tanaaz politely declined the offer citing prior commitments. But the fact of the matter is that she didn8217;t want to do any act with Bakhtiyar because of his wild ways. She8217;s had previous experience of Bakhtiyar8217;s overexcited ways on reality shows when he8217;d throw her and kick her whenever she missed a step or could not get them right while rehearsing. We8217;re sure Bakhtiyar will now tone down his enthusiasm in the future.
Jugal8217;s surprise
INDIAN Idol 4 just got more interesting. The special guest on Thursday8217;s episode was Jugal Hansraj, and accompanying him were none other than Romeo and Laila, the adorable leads of his directorial debut Roadside Romeo. The Indian Idol contestants were delighted to see their guests and put up an impromptu show of singing, dancing and mimicry and in between shots; they also sang songs from Jugal8217;s films. The actor-director was touched by this gesture and in spite of a cold he happily posed and interacted with all the contestants.
He also promised to send everyone a music CD of his film as a token of appreciation. Talk about a mutual admiration club.
HIMESH Reshammiya will be at his candid best on IBN78217;s Zindagi Live which will be telecast Sunday night at 8 pm. The singer tackles questions about his family, struggles and his perceived arrogance with great aplomb. Nobody can accuse Himesh of not being honest especially when he admits that in his infamous row with senior singer Asha Bhonsle, he was in the wrong. Now with this kind of honesty, no wonder the singer is such a hit with the masses. Maybe the real Himesh shines through the reel Himesh.
Fantastic four
ON November 2, Jalwa Four 2 Ka 1 will air every Sunday at 9 pm on 9X. The show will bring together Mika, Rakhi Sawant, Shakti Kapoor and Shweta Tiwari as four opposing captains. TV actors Ali Asgar and Divyanka Tripathi will play hosts. As its judge, Mahima Choudhry will be back in the reckoning after vanishing from the big screen. Director-actor Satish Kaushik is the other judge. The show as a novelty factor, has introduced bidding system.
