BJP urges allies to see eye-to-eye
In a move to appease the AIADMK, the BJP today chose to ignore AIADMK chief Jayalalitha8217;s quot;political behaviourquot; and called for better coordination among coalition partners. A four-page political resolution adopted by the party8217;s national executive at the end of its three-day session here did not mention a word about the political crisis arising out of Jayalalitha8217;s threat to withdraw support to the BJP-led coalition.
Cong flays US air strikes
The Congress today deplored the missile strike by the United States on Sudan and Afghanistan as it violated sovereignty and integrity of the concerned states. In a statement, it said respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of each nation was a well-established practice.
