Tercentenary celebrations opened by PM
It was a kickstart to the tercentenary celebrations of the birth of the Khalsa with the formal launching by the Prime Minister. The only announcement the Prime Minister made was the setting up of a military training centre at Anandpur Sahib, the details of which would be worked out later. And this was the only major demand made by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.
