Bosco Strikers win

MUMBAI, JULY 28: Bosco Strikers scored a 2-1 win over MTNL in the Second Division of the MDFA League match at St. Xavier’s ground Parel here today.Bosco forwards were too fast for the MTNL defence. They struck early, in the 5th minute, when a long pass from Freddy Iganlus was trapped by Dayton Sequeira who beat the MTNL goalkeeper Sarfaraz Ansari with a powerful shot.

Three minutes later, the Bosco boys increased the lead when Kienel D’Souza passed to Freddy Iganlus who ran down the flank and sent a powerful shot to the roof of the net.

MTNL narrowed the margin through Sunil Kanojia in the dying moments. Dilip Absul was shown a yellow card for foul play.
