PUNE, May 13: Bank of Baroda has announced a substantial cut in lending rates from May 12, 1998. The chairman of the bank, in a statement issued to the press, said his bank was the first to announce an aggressive cut of 75 basic points in the prime lending rate from 13.5 per cent to 12.75, with a band of 4 per cent.
