
In a twist to the case of the disappearance of Ghatkopar bomb blast accused Sayed Khwaja Yunus from police custody, a resident of Phaltan in Kasara district today moved a special court, saying he had met Yunus at a cyber cafe in Pune.
Based on this version, the court has ordered the CID to conduct an inquiry. Jayant Nale Patil claims he had met a person in February in a Pune cyber cafe whose face and description fitted that of Yunus.
Patil said the person had given his name as Mohammed Sharif and said he was working as a software engineer with Wika Co. in Jabelali, UAE.
Patil said he met the same person in the cyber cafe on March 16, and this time, was threatened if he disclosed to anyone about the meeting.
