NEW DELHI, May 8: Modern School beat Rakesh Press by 170 runs in the opening match of Indo Asian Trophy Nehru tourney at Kalkaji.

Brief scores: Modern School: 250 for 7 Kshitz Rohtgi 86, Akshay Sahni 34, Gautam Gambhir 26, Vipin 3 for 56; Rakesh Press: 80 all out Gautam Gambhir 4 4 for 25, Naveen Chopra 3 for 25.

Umpire8217;s debut n Rajan Seth of Delhi will make his debut as an international umpire when he officiates the India vs Kenya match at Gwalior on May 28 in the triangular series involving India, Kenya and Bangladesh. Seth had officiated as third umpire during the Australia vs Zimbabwe match at the Kotla last month.

Another umpire from Delhi, Devender Sharma, will stand along with A Bhattacharya of Calcutta in the India vs Kenya game at Bangalore on May 20. Devender had made his international debut at Indore against Sri Lanka.

Besides Rajan Seth, five others will make their international debut as umpires during the forthcoming triangular series. They are: B K Sadashiv Kar, C R Mohite Baroda, K N Raghavan Kochi, A. Bhattacharjee Calcutta and Sudhir Asnani Indore.
