NEW DELHI, February 18: Fine unbeaten centuries by Delhi u-19 skipper Bhupinder Singh 102 and under-16 player Rajiv Uniyal 101 enabled Chand Club thrash Bank of India by 104 runs in the B division match of DDCA league at Kotla.
Electing to bat, Chand scored 222 for no loss in their alloted 40 overs. In reply, Bank of India were dismissed for 118 in 34.1 overs wtih Delhi Ranji bowler Pankaj Joshi 4 for 9 and leg-spinner Sandeep Kochar 2 for 15 taking the bulk of the wickets. In another match, Lal Bahadur Shastri Coaching Centre outplayed Shahdara Sports Club to win by 164 runs in C division match at Kotla 2.
Daman Deep Singh 85, Yash Garg 54 and Suraj Kochar 51 were the main scorers for Lal Bahadur Shastri while Jagjit Soni 37 and Sunny Lamba 28 were the principal contributors for the losers.
