Baboor, Poulomi takes honours

Gandhidham, April 15: Top seeds Chetan Baboor of IOC and Poulomi Ghatak of Bengal won the men’s and women’s singles title in the Rs 1.33 lakh India Top-12 Prize Money table tennis tournament this evening.

With this wins, Baboor became richer by Rs 40,000 while Poulomi got the winner’s purse of Rs 25,000. Indu had to be content with a cheque of Rs 12,500 while Raman got a cheque of Rs 20,000.

Men:Chetan Baboor (IOC) bt S Raman (IOC) 21-10, 13-21, 21-19, 20-22, 21-19.

Women: Poulomi Ghatak (Bng) bt NR Indu (IOC) 21-17, 21-13, 15-21, 21-13.
