PHUKET THAILAND, January 23: Young Indian professional Arjun Atwal hit his second succesive sub-par round carding one under 71 in the second round while his more famed counterpart Jeev Milkha Singh failed to make the cut in the 800,000 Pounds Johnnie Walker Classic Golf here today.

Calcutta-based Atwal, who had a two under par 70 first round, began by making four birdies on the front nine. On the back, he had bogeys on the 1th, 3th, 18th which spoiled his card to some extent. He is three under for two round with a total of 141.

Jeev had a disastrous round. He shot five over par 77 to finish with a total of 150 for two rounds.
