NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 21: The Assembly elections in Bihar, cyclone-hit Orissa, Manipur and Haryana will be concluded by the first fortnight of March, 2000 and the Election Commission has initiated the spade work for the exercise, CEC M S Gill indicated on Monday.
Gill said a meeting of the full Commission would be held here on December 23 to take stock of the poll preparations in the four states. The Commission is expected to consider a report by Deputy EC S Chatterjee.
