PUNE, Sept 11: Noted social worker and president of the Bhrashtachar Virodhi Jana Andolan Anna Hazare today fired Nana Kshirsagar from the post of in charge of the organisation’s Pune district unit.

Hazare took the decision after receiving complaints that Kshirsagar was involved in corruption cases, a press release issued by andolan secretary G.P. Pradhan said.

The release accused Kshirsagar of having joined hands with organisations affiliated with the Shiv Sena in violation of the norm that no worker of the andolan would work as an office-bearer of any political party or an organisation affiliated with a political party.

Kshirsagar had recently started leading organisations owing alliance to the Shiv Sena, including the Maharashtra Rickshaw Sena, Pathari Sena and Kagad Kach Patra Sena, it added.
