MUMBAI, APRIL 7: The new all-weather track8217; at Mahalakshmi found little support from regular race-goers this afternoon.

They expressed their displeasure at the repeated alterations being made to the underfoot conditions on the race tracks which makes it it difficult to finalise their fancies.

Punters have desired that authorities should use a single track that suits them for the entire season. The results of the events run on the all weather track8217; clearly show that most of the frontliners maintained their lead and captured the event. There were few races which were claimed by the contenders who came from behind. The gap between the winner and the horse that finishes last has increased.

Stormy Warrior took an early lead and cantered with the Rose Royal Trophy, the main event of the second extra day held on Wednesday.
