Amidst the government's efforts to end violence in Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday said the all-party meeting to discuss a way out was a good beginning and hoped to build on it. "We made a good beginning. I hope we will build on that better," Singh told reporters here when asked whether there would be any further all-party meeting over the issue. He described Wednesday's meeting as "cordial and constructive". Singh did not take further questions on the sidelines of a book release function at his residence. His remarks came as an all-party delegation was preparing to go to the state on Saturday to hold talks with the agitators.
