After the Shiv Sena, now the Nationalist Congress Party has extended their support to the warkaris. Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar on Saturday said that he 8220;will not allow Dow company to come up in Pune8221;. He was speaking at the party8217;s Western Maharashtra meet in Satara. Flaying the Congress for bringing Dow to Pune, Pawar said that, 8220;NCP respects the sentiments of warkari and we will support them.8217;8217; NCP is a key ally in Deshmukh8217;s government in the state. Incidentally, two days back, NCP chief Sharad Pawar had come out in support of the project and refuted allegations that he was associated with the plant.
