
MUMBAI, FEB 21: Air Mauritius has launched a major marketing campaign to promote the sun-washed island country as an important tourist and business centre for the travellers of the subcontinent.
According to high priority to the Indian market, “which holds a tremendous potential,” Air Mauritius CMD, Nashiruddin Mallam-Hasham, said that his airline was planning to introduce a daily flight service between India and that country, besides increasing the number of destinations from two to four. “Chennai and Hyderabad were the prospective new destinations and flights from these destinations would considerably help the Indian business traveller,” Mallam-Hasham said. He said the new stations were good hubs in the the south, from where other areas in the country could be accessed.
