MUMBAI, July 1: The Anti-Corruption Bureau ACB nabbed an inspector of the District Industrial Centre DCI for accepting a bribe of Rs 1000 to process the papers of an educated unemployed in Navi Mumbai on Tuesday.

Sanjay D Dhongade 27 had applied for a loan under the Prime Minister Rojgar Yojana to buy an autorickshaw. Ravindra D Sangole, who was processing Dhongade8217;s application for a loan, demanded Rs 1000 to forward papers to bankers. The money was to be paid on June 30 when he visited the office of Small Scale Industries Association as usual. Following a complaint by the youth, ACB sources laid a trap and held the inspector red-handed.
