A treat awaits the tourists: CM

Himachal is ready to give the tourists an experience different from the conventional tourism by involving sectors such a rural tourism, heritage, adventure, horticulture and eco-tourism, said Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal while presiding over the valedictory function of the World Tourism Week celebrations held here.

“Himachal is making efforts to cater to need of the hour and in the process the state has started Home Stay-2008 scheme that would provide employment to the rural youth and opportunity to tourists to have direct experience of rural life and culture”, said Dhumal. He later launched updated website of Himachal tourism that has been developed by Voice of Himachal. The freshly updated websites is redone with focus on tourists’ needs.
