WHILE CELEBRATING Deputy CM Ajit Pawar’s birthday on July 22, his supporters put up posters along the entire route from his official residence Devgiri to CM Eknath Shinde’s residence Varsha. Many in the NCP believe Ajit Pawar is the right candidate for the coveted post and it was a matter of time when he took that big leap from DyCM to CM. The big question is will it be post Lok Sabha polls or after Assembly elections 2024.

A friend that defends

DEPUTY CHIEF minister Devendra Fadnavis is by profession a lawyer turned politician. Not surprisingly, NCP leader and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar has found both a friendly alliance partner and lawyer. On Sunday, Fadnavis came in defence of Pawar Jr. arguing that he has not been partisan when it came to allocation of funds to MLAs. Fadnavis tried to silence the critics stating that Pawar Jr allocated funds to MLAs in proportion to development projects and the allocations were given to all MLAs including Shiv Sena.

WHILE BJP minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha’s office in BMC is raised eyebrows, yet another BJP MLA may land in controversy soon as he started renovation of his office without permission from the society. Now the society members want to complain but wonder whom to approach to tackle this bigshot BJP leader, who is eyeing Delhi in 2024.
