Looking the other side

The recent two-day crime conference held at the Maharashtra Police headquarters, was attended by Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis on both the days. Fadnavis also had several questions to ask during the various presentations made by IPS officers. The officers were later gushing about how unlike politicians just appearing for the first few sessions of the conference and leaving, the incumbent seemed interested to be present throughout the event.

The happiest lot in the state bureaucracy is the one who worked with ministers during the MVA regime. With the return of the NCP, the old staff sidelined during the Shinde – Fadnavis tenure has already made a comeback. The staff runs the minister’s office and the experienced staff of previous NCP ministers has now returned.
