Anjana, the wife of Vanaraja Kesari (the King of Monkeys), prayed to Lord Shiva to break the Muni Vishwamitra’s curse and begged him to be a part of the kid in her womb, which is why it is widely believed that Lord Hanuman was born to them as the 11th Rudra avatar of Lord Shiva.

An ardent devotee of Lord Ram and Sita, Lord Hanuman is considered a protector from negative energies, representing devotion, strength, humility, and selfless service.
