Who said you can’t feed interesting and delicious food to your beloved furry friend at home? With just a few easily available items, you can whip out a scrumptious meal for your four-legged companion that will not just nourish their bodies but also satiate their taste buds. It is not just us but also Anshula Kapoor who firmly believes in the same, as she recently shared the recipe for a 4-ingredient ice cream for your dog.

“I made this super easy 3-ingredient ice cream (more like a frozen treat) for Max and he loved it so much. I had to share it with you all,” she wrote, alongside a video of her demonstrating the simple recipe.

Here’s how you can make this frozen treat for your dog at home, as shared by Anshula.

Ingredients

*Half an apple (or any choice of dog-safe fruit that your pup loves)
*1 tsp of unsweetened peanut butter
*1 small cup of Greek yoghurt. “It tastes great with normal yoghurt, too,” she said.
*1 chocolate mould or ice cube tray. “If it’s a silicone mould, you will need to place it on a plate first to make sure it doesn’t spill all over the freezer,” Anshula said.

Method

*Add the fruit, yoghurt, and peanut butter to a blender.
*Blend well till it becomes a smooth mixture.
*Pour it onto the mould of your choice. “If you’re using a soft silicone mould, place the mould on a plate or small baking sheet first and then pour the mixture into the mould. This makes it easy to transfer the mould into the freezer,” she mentioned.
*Freeze for a minimum of 2-3 hours, till it solidifies. However, overnight freezing is the best, according to Anshula.
