ICW 2023: Vaani Kapoor casts a spell in blood red lehenga

In a gorgeous red lacy ensemble, Vaani Kapoor stole the show for Roseroom by Isha Jajodia, who made her runway debut at India Couture Week.

Vaani Kapoor dazzled in a blood-red chikankari lehenga on the 8th day of the India Couture Week hosted by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI).

In a gorgeous red lacy ensemble, she walked down the ramp for Roseroom by Isha Jajodia, who made her runway debut at India Couture Week.

Vaani’s eye-catching costume was a scarlet chikankari lehenga with a deep v-neck bralette and gorgeous floral lace details. She paired it with a gorgeously flared red skirt and scarlet dupatta. She complemented her look with a dazzling diamond necklace that contrasted her green emeralds and diamonds.

The actor’s flawless makeup look included barely-there eye shadow, mascara-coated lashes, winged eyeliner, contoured cheeks with a blush tint, and a glossy pink lipstick shade. Vaani completed her glamorous look by allowing her lush curls to gracefully fall over her shoulders.

The ‘Romantic Reverie’ collection drew inspiration from the allure of Hollywood’s Golden Age as well the French Riviera couture. According to the collection note, each piece in the collection paid homage to the beautiful bygone era with exquisite chikankari details, delicate laces, and dreamy organza fabrics blending with pearls and crystals to create a fascinating tapestry of whimsical sophistication and exclusivity.

The couture week, still underway, was held at the Taj Palace in New Delhi, with ace designers presenting the best of Indian fashion on the runway. Many Bollywood celebrities walked the runway for designers as showstoppers.

Kiara Advani walked the ramp for Falguni Shane Peacock in a hot pink bralette and mermaid skirt. Ranbir Kapoor rocked fusion lungi pants for Kunal Rawal. Ishaan Khattar and Made In Heaven fame Sobhita Dhulipala turned showstoppers for Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna. While Ananya Panday played muse to designer Rimzim Dadu, Athiya Shetty walked the ramp for Anamika Khanna looking ethereal in a floral gown. Disha Patani was most recently seen at the Dolly J show in yet another bralette and lehenga combination dominating the fashion scene.

The India Couture Week 2023 will conclude on August 2, with the closing collection by designer Rahul Mishra.
