TN TRB 2024 Recruitment: Annual calendar released for over 6,000 vacancies

The Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has announced the TN TRB annual planner for 2024. The TN TRB planner 2024 for multiple posts in teachers is available at the official website – trb.tn.gov.in. The TN TRB 2024 exam planner includes details including the tentative month of notification for the vacancy, number of vacancies and the schedule of examination for various posts.

The TN TRB annual calendar 2024 has seven recruitments and as many as 6,281 vacancies will likely be filled. Out of the total vacancies, 4,000 are for assistant professors at Government Arts and Science Colleges of Education and 1,766 are for secondary grade teachers (SGT).

Last year, as many as 15,149 vacancies were notified in the TN TRB annual calendar.

Among the exams listed in the TN TRB 2024 annual exam calendar, the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2024 Paper – I and II, Post Graduate Assistants, Chief Minister Research Fellowship (CMRF), SCERT, Assistant Professors in Government Law Colleges, and Assistant Professors in Pre Law, the most number of vacancies have been announced for Assistant Professors in Government Arts and Science Colleges and Colleges of Education.

While the TNTET 2024 paper 1 and paper 2 will tentatively be conducted in July, the notification will likely be released in April. The notification for the CMRF 2024 for 120 fellowships will be out in June. The exam is expected to take place in September.

While announcing the annual TN TRB calendar for 2024, the recruitment board also said that there may be additions or deletions to examinations and the vacancies indicated are liable for modification before or after the examination.
