
SSC MTS Tier 1 Result 2019 HIGHLIGHTS: The Staff Selection Commission declared the results for the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) Paper I recruitment examination. The candidates can check the result through the website- ssc.nic.in.
The final answer key has also been released. The candidates can download the answer key through the official website- ssc.nic.in. The admit cards for SSC MTS Tier II will be released by November 20.
SSC MTS Tier 1 Result 2019: How to check
“In order to ensure greater transparency in the examination system, and in the interest of the candidates, the Commission has now uploaded the Final Answer Keys along with Question Paper(s) of candidates on 05.11.2019,” the notification mentioned.
The recruitment examination was conducted August 2 to 22, 2019, while the candidates from Jammu and Kashmir appeared in the examination on September 27, 2019. SSC MTS paper II will be held in November.

A total of 26,384 candidates qualified in the age group of 18 to 27 years include SC- 1905, ST- 2130, OBC- 7410, EWS- 2040, General- 11775, ESM- 44, OH- 405, HH- 300, VH- 270, PwD- 105.
A total of 84.778 candidates got qualified in the age group of 18 to 25 years, which includes SC- 5850, ST- 6630, OBC- 23,370, EWS- 6,420, General- 38,955, ESM- 238, OH- 1095, HH- 1020, VH- 885, PwD- 315.

The paper-1 is an online exam which is an objective multiple choice question type. It is divided into four sections. Paper-2 is a pen and paper mode of examination which includes a descriptive paper in English or any other language listed in the government policies
The Paper will be set in Hindi, English and in other languages mentioned in the VIII Schedule of the Constitution as given in Annexure-XIV, to test basic language skills commensurate with the educational qualification prescribed for the post. Questions on general awareness of the environment and its application to society, current affairs knowledge will be asked. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to sports, history, culture, geography, economic scene, general polity including Indian constitution, and scientific research etc.

This paper will include questions on problems relating to number systems, computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions and relationship between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and time, time and work, etc.
The test will include questions on similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. The test will also include questions oh abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.
English Language: Questions will be asked on basic English including vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc. and writing ability.

General Intelligence and Reasoning will constitute numerical aptitude and general English of an average matriculate level and general awareness of similar standard.

In the event of tie in the normalized marks scored by candidates in the Computer Based Examination, such cases have been resolved by applying following criteria, one after another in the given order, till the tie is resolved:
(a) Total marks in Computer Based Examination.
(b) Marks in Part-A of Computer Based Examination.
(c) Marks in Part-B of Computer Based Examination.
(d) Date of Birth, with older candidates placed higher.
(e) Alphabetical order of names (starting with first name)
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has rescheduled the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS, paper-II) examination. The SSC MTS was initially scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, November 17, however, the SSC will now conduct it on November 24, 2019. In SSC MTS Tier-I, there is a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
The candidates have been shortlisted for PET/ PST in an approximate ratio of 1:10 (vacancy: candidates). Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) applicants securing less than 33% marks and Unreserved (UR) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates securing less than 35% marks have not been considered eligible for short-listing to the PET/ PST.
Marks scored by candidates in Tier-I will be normalized by using the formula published by the Commission and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks
Candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs 5200 to Rs 20,200 in addition to grade pay of Rs 1900. For PA, SA – Rs 5200 to Rs 20,200 in addition to grade pay of Rs 2400 and those hired at the post of DEO will get remuneration in the pay scale of Rs 5200 to Rs 20200 and grade pay of Rs 2400..
