RRB JE 2024: Exam date and city slip out

RRB JE Exam Date and City Slip 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the exam city intimation slip for the RRB Junior Engineer exam 2024 on the official websites of all regional RRBs. Candidates who are scheduled to take the exam can check and download their city slips online by entering the required login details such as date of birth or registration number and password.

According to the notification, the RRB JE exam 2024 will take place between December 16 to 18, 2024, using a computer-based test format. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories who are eligible for free train travel should note that their e-call letter will include the free travel authority (sleeper class railway pass).

RRB JE 2024: Steps to download

Step 1: Visit the official website of any one of the regional RRBs website

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the direct link to download the e-call letter and city intimation slip.

Step 3: A new window will open on the screen

Step 4: Mention the login credentials

Step 5: Download the RRB JE exam city intimation slip 2024

These SC and ST candidates can book train reservations by presenting a self-attested photocopy of their e-call letter along with their SC/ST certificate at the ticket booking counter.

The two-stage RRB JE examination is followed by the document verification and medical examination of all the shortlisted candidates.

This year, the Board aims to fill a total of 7,951 vacancies for various posts in Indian Railways. Out of these, 17 vacancies were allocated for chemical supervisors, research and metallurgical supervisors, and research posts. While 7,934 vacancies are allocated for junior engineers, depot material superintendents and chemical and metallurgical assistant posts.
