Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's son Kartikey Chouhan Tuesday filed a defamation case against Congress president Rahul Gandhi for dragging his name in the Panama papers scandal, according to ANI. Katikey's lawyer S Srivastava said, "Kartikey Chouhan has filed a defamation case against Rahul Gandhi over his statement 'Madhya Pradesh CM's son's name was mentioned in Panama Papers leaks,'during a political rally yesterday. This is an objectionable statement given with a criminal intention." On Monday night, the Chief Minister said he will file a criminal defamation suit against Gandhi for linking him and his family members with several scams, including Vyapam and Panama Papers. “Mr @RahulGandhi, you have been making patently false allegations of Vyapam to Panama Papers against me and my family. Tomorrow, I am filing a criminal defamation suit for maximum damages against you for frivolous and malafide statements. Let law take its own course now,” he had tweeted. Even a country like Pakistan punished its former PM when he was named in the Panama papers.” However, hours after this, Gandhi Tuesday clarified he got confused as there is rampant corruption in the BJP. “BJP mein itna bhrashtachaar hai ki main kal confuse ho gaya tha. Madhya Pradesh ke CM ne Panama nahi kiya unhone to e-tendering aur vyapam scam kiye hain (There is so much corruption in BJP that I got confused.
