Militants throw grenade on army convoy

Militants carried out a grenade attack on an army convoy in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla town but no one was injured in the attack,police said.

The incident occurred in Azad Gunj area when some unidentified militants hurled a grenade on one of the vehicles of the passing convoy,Baramulla police station SHO Bashir Ahmad said.

However,no one was injured as the grenade missed the target and exploded on the roadside,he said.

No outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
