The BJP would launch an agitation on November 27 to protest what it called the state government's discriminatory policy towards Jammu and Ladakh regions. The agitation will start with a three-hour Jammu bandh from 0800 hours to 1100 hours on November 27 and will be followed by similar shutdowns and protests in different districts of Jammu and Ladakh regions,Pradesh BJP President Shamsher Singh Manhas told reporters here on Wednesday. Accusing Omar Abdullah government of discriminating against Jammu and Ladakh regions in matters of giving employment to educated youth and providing financial aid to developmental activities,Manhas said the agitation will continue till the state got rid of a chief minister like him.
