Bangladeshi national arrested from Indo-Pak border in J-K

The security forces also recovered some Indian and Bangaldeshi currency from him.

Security forces have arrested a Bangladeshi national close to the Indo-Pak border in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Troops observed the movement of a person near the international border in Katli border belt in Ramgarh sub-sector,40 kms from here,early today,official sources said here.

The person was arrested as he tried to run away,they said. He was identified as Makalchar Rehman of Mirpur district in Bangladesh.

The security forces also recovered some Indian and Bangaldeshi currency from him.

Rehman had entered India from Bangladesh through the border in West Bengal and came to Jammu for cross over into Pakistan,the sources said.
