Army jawan commits suicide in Jammu

An army jawan allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself inside a bathroom of an army camp in Jammu city.

Havaldar Tukka Ram Romesh of Mumbai,posted with 526 Army Supply Corps,allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself inside the bathroom in Ambhalla area of Jammu city yesterday,they said.

When Romesh did not return from bathroom his colleagues forced their entry and found the jawan dead,they said,adding he was shifted to Military Hospital at Satwari where doctors declared him brought dead.

A court of inquiry has been ordered into the incident by the army.
