26 members of divided families cross LOC in Poonch

As many as 26 members of divided families from Jammu and Kashmir and PoK crossed between two sides in a weekly bus service.

As many as 26 members of divided families from Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir crossed between the two sides in a weekly bus service via Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point in Poonch district,district officials said.

Of the 26 members who travelled on LoC bus via Chakan-Da-Bagh Border Point,12 persons crossed over to PoK from Jammu and Kashmir while 14 crossed over to JK from PoK,they said.

From the Jammu and Kashmir side,six were freshers and an equal number were PoK citizens,who returned after staying here with their kins,they said.

From PoK,ten were freshers and only four were Indian returnees,who returned after staying with their kins on the other side of LOC.

Officials of J-K and POK monitored the crossover operation of the weekly bus service at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice from 1400 hours to 1450 hours today,they said.
