Cases filed against Raj and Udhav Thackeray

James Quadrez,a social activist filed a case against the two in the court of Bhagalpur district.

Two cases were filed against Maharashtra Navanirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray and his cousin Udhav Thackeray in Bhagalpur and Muzaffarpur today for their hate speech against Bihari migrants.

James Quadrez,a social activist filed a case against the two in the court of Bhagalpur district chief judicial magistrate S P Malviya under various provisions of the IPC.

He alleged that ‘Bihari bashing’ by the two Maharashtra leaders in a series of hate speech had hurt the sentiments of the people of the state and posed a threat to the unity and integrity of the country.

Sudhir Ojha,an advocate filed the second case against the Thackeray cousins in the court Muzaffarpur district chief judicial magistrate S P Singh.

In his case,Ojha alleged that the MNS chief and his cousin had hurt the people of Bihar by describing migrants from the state to Mumbai as infiltrators and demanding issuance of permit to them for visiting the city and Maharashtra
