The workers were also felicitated with garlands. BJP state secretary Abhijat Mishra remarked, that other parties see Dalits and OBCs as vote banks. “Our party reveres them.”
Day 5: In the first five days of the Kumbh Mela, more than 7 crore devotees have bathed in the Sangam, with the total expected to exceed 50 crore by the end of the 45-day festival. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts clear skies over Prayagraj this Friday, with minimum temperatures dipping to 10.4°C and maximums reaching 20.4°C.

Traffic Arrangements for (snan) Bathing Days: Traffic regulations will establish designated no-vehicle zones in and around the Mela area on key bathing days—Amavasya (January 29), Basant Panchami (February 3), Maghi Purnima (February 12), and Maha Shivratri (February 26). Diversions and no-vehicle zones will be enforced starting one day before and continuing until one day after these bathing days. For Mauni Amavasya, the restrictions will be in place from two days prior to two days after the event.
