SP,BSP have ruled UP sans development agenda: BJP

BJP says Cong would join hands with SP,BSP after UP assembly election results.

Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley today said the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party ruled Uttar Pradesh without any development agenda.

Corruption and goondaraj were the hallmarks of their regimes,he alleged at an election rally here.

“A genuine political outfit when voted to power strives to establish medical colleges,universities and bridges,but the SP and the BSP encouraged corruption and goondaraj,” the BJP leader said.

He said the Congress would join hands with the SP and the BSP after the announcement of the UP assembly election results.

There was an undercurrent of resentment among the UPA allies against the Congress-led government at the Centre after the Supreme Court verdict on the 2G spectrum issue,the BJP leader said.
