Rahul boards local train in Mumbai

Taking a detour from his schedule,Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday took a local train in Mumbai.

Taking a detour from his schedule,Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday took a local train from suburban Andheri to Dadar in central Mumbai.

Rahul,who was on his way from suburban Vile Parle to Ghatkopar,disembarked from his motorcade outside Andheri railway station and got in a Dadar-bound local train.

We were not informed in advance about his travel by train. However,Railway Police Force were there to keep a vigil, Western Railway PRO C David said.

Rahul got in a second class coach of the train and his motorcade is expected to pick him up from Dadar after which he would visit Ramabai Nagar colony in suburban Ghatkopar.
