Outgoing Chief Minister Nitish Kumar termed the ‘hue and cry’ raised by arch rival RJD chief Lalu Prasad over exit poll surveys as ‘unjustified’ and said whatever be the people’s mandate,it should be acceptable to all.
Kumar,who was speaking to newsmen,said he,like an ordinary citizen,was waiting with bated breath to know the outcome of the poll on Wednesday.
He lauded the role of media in nation building and said Lalu Prasad should know that media had always given him the privilege.
Prasad’s charge against the media for the exit poll surveys projecting land slide victory for NDA was ‘baseless’,he said,adding,”It is none other than Prasad who is himself responsible for the distress he is in.
